In Nelson’s spare time he enjoys playing basketball, fishing and hiking in the beautiful Tararua Ranges.

How Nelson is paid

Nelson's advice is completely free. As an adviser, Nelson earns an upfront commission on loans he settles. It is the same commission irrespective of lender, so there's no pressure or bias toward any particular option. Squirrel at a company level is paid upfront or a combination of upfront and trail commission by its lenders and insurance providers.
