Basil, AKA Baz, comes to us from South Africa where he founded his own mortgage broking company, before cutting his teeth in SA’s largest firm. In total he’s clocked up nearly two decade's worth of experience in the industry. A family man who loves the BBQ, he claims to cook a mean steak. This claim is yet to be confirmed.
Baz specialises in First/second home buyers, property investors and refinancing.

Certificate in Leadership, People management and marketing, NZ Certification in Financial Services.
How Baz is paid
Baz's advice is completely free. He is a salaried adviser and is paid the same no matter which lender you choose, so there's no pressure or bias toward any particular option. Squirrel at a company level is paid upfront or a combination of upfront and trail commission by its lenders and insurance providers.
